About Me
My philosophy is simple: work hard, be honest and have fun! I have always strived to live those principles throughout my career.

I grew up in the small Iowa town of Shelby, and graduated in 1996 from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Family Services and a minor in Psychology.

I immediately entered the human services field. I first worked at a crisis center, then a youth shelter and finally a women’s health care clinic. I found them all extremely gratifying and rewarding.

After eight years, it was time for a change and I began pursuing another passion: interior design. I enrolled in college design classes and worked at Pier 1 Imports, honing my design skills and gaining valuable experience helping people visualize potential in their homes.

Deciding to become a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker was a natural next step, merging my desire to help people with my passion for homes and home design.

Well-staged homes show better and can sell more quickly than other homes. I am a Certified Home Marketing Specialist, which means I have received extra training to help get your home ready for sale. I can help you get your home in tip-top shape so it will make a great first impression in photos and in person:

• Cleaning tips
• Getting rid of clutter
• Which repairs to make and which to skip
• "Depersonalizing" your house
• Decorating and accessorizing - on a budget!

You can pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for this service, but when I list your house it's just part of what I do for you.
